Re: Cyberpunk Review...dead?

What's the story with CPR? It hasn't been updated since September 17th despite there being a large amount of things that could have been reviewed on there.

Is it dead? Can it be revived?

Re: Cyberpunk Review...dead?

I kinda figured it was dead when SFAM went MIA, and we all moved here. People were still using it?

Re: Cyberpunk Review...dead?

Well, Roboto posts a review once in a while and generally keeps the fort, but yeah that blog was already pretty much on ice ever since SFAM went away. Afterwards, most of the traffic was probably driven by the forums.

Re: Cyberpunk Review...dead?

I am also confused by the lack of site updates. At first, I thought this may be because Mr.Roboto plans something big, but now, I doubt that. I don't know what happened. Sadly, Mr. Roboto doesn't talk very much about his plans and prefers to stay an " omniscient grey eminence in the background who doesn't interfere much with the commons". Because of that, you can only guess his intentions

I doubt he has anything big planned. SFAM kinda dropped this on his shoulders; it's probably not his top priority.

Well, even as a mod, I don't talk very often to him and when I write a request like "please delete these spammers", he mostly fullfilled my request, but often, he didn't write an answer. (Ofcourse, this is also mostly not needed.)

Re: Cyberpunk Review...dead?

Agreed, it's not really needed to respond as long as the rubbish is cleaned from the site. And, yes, since most of the chit-chat has moved here, the site's traffic has likely taken a huge drop. It's mainly there now as an archive, with some additions to the movie database from time to time (I'm guessing Roboto's movie reviews ebb and flow with the trends).
